Hi all

Tone Raiders CD arrived this morning, congratulations to Tony and everybody involved in the making of imho an excellent CD. All tracks are superb! a must have, to add to any collection and by the reading of the sleeve notes it looks like we could well be treated to to two further releases in 2012. I wonder if there are any plans of the band to gig at all.

Happy listening everybody
Dave

I agree in every respect with Dave - it's a great album with terrific sounds and some excellent guitar work.

A superb album, If you haven't got it contact Tony Hoffman immediately to order one. All this and a 'new' Shads album in 9 days time. Will 2012 be the year of the BBC sessions? It must happen some time so why not sooner rather than later.

Happy New Year everyone

Hi guys,

Thanks for this thread, we appreciate the exposure and feedback has been brilliant thus far.
It was a joy to record this CD and like Dave said, we have other releases planned for this year.
In answer to Dave's question, we could gig as a band and I have already mentioned to Alan Taylor of Pipeline that we would be willing to play at a Convention one year.

Thanks again.

Plenty of CDs in stock if you are tempted, just £9.99 plus postage

regards

Tony Hoffman (Hoffers)

Hi Tony,

Just enjoyed listening to the CD all the way through, every track is excellently performed, arranged and produced.
Its really hard to pick out a favourite track because they are all so exceptional. But if I was to pick out tracks it would have to be your personal compositions particularly "Monte Toro"

Well done Tony on a superb project and look forward to more releases in the near future.

Regards
Chris

Tony

The CD arrived just as Maureen and I were leaving for our New Years Eve holiday break so I popped in in the car and we played it going round the M25 and up the M1 - the ulltimate test! - high road noise on that concrete section between 9 and 10 etc, not to mention the surrounding roar of the artics and the 4WDs. The result? great music all the way! So much so that Maureen asked to have it played again - and that IS a compliment! This morning was the journey back - and we played it twice more.

Well done Tony (and all the other guys) - now looking forward to Part 2.

A great album from The Tone Raiders.

But perhaps the track Cochise should have been titled Tonto - as in The Tone Raiders and Tonto!!

Hello all,

Apologies but a blatant plug for the first Tone Raiders CD 'Under The Influence' which will be on sale on John Humphrey's stand at Shadowmania. C'mon people dig deep as I need my bus fare home!!!
16 tracks, 12 page colour booklet with foreword by Hank B.

Also available to download on Amazon or CD Baby, just type in Tone Raiders.

We're back in the studio first week of October to finish our 'Space' EP and tape some more titles for our second album 'Second Chance' due 2013.

Right, I'll get back to packing plenty of spare underwear for my stage debut at Shadowmania, I think I'm looking forward to it!!!

Luv to all
