Rest in peace Johnny.
Met him and his son Shuggie at the press conference held for the "Long Beach Blues Festival" in Los Angeles 1982.

The death of Etta James made the news yesterday. She was discovered by Johnny Otis, as was Litle Richard. I was disappointed at the lesser coverage of JO's death. A key figure in rock'n'roll history.
