This is interesting. Some good picture sleeves in the singles section if nothing else...

I am assuming that the information is for the UK charts.

It is amazing how poorly 2 of my favourite LP's did. Rockin' with Curly Leads and Shades of Rock

Similarly with some singles which memory tells you was a great hit but not a number 1.

Great to read though, most informative.

Good info' Chris, although I think that chart history picture would do better in an abstract art gallery.

Agreed! I went cross-eyed trying to decipher it!!! Still got a headache now...

A shame that The Third Man was not a huge hit. It jumped 24 places the week after it's chart debut and that must have signified a quite considerable number of copies shifted. In my opinion, it was probably the best cover version/single the Shads released during the 1980s. The bass and the drumming are outstanding.

Oh well...

What i don't understand is why none of their singles after 'The third man' charted as some of them were very good, i think 'Mountains of the moon' was possibly on their best Polydor releases but it flopped. At least the LP's did well! :D

Quite a few are missing, More Hits, Something Else, Established, Tasty... nice to see they've shoved someone elses album in there to fill up the spaces though ;)
