There are some rumours about Bruce saying yes to a CD audio of Reunited tour. Are they realistic?

If not, and if you have the DVD, it's easy to make your own CD audio by extracting audio from the DVD...

There are good programs available which will convert dvd audio to cd. I bought one (dvd extractor I think) and it delivers great results.

SUPER © is a freeware programme which will so the job.

The sound mix for a DVD is made with the pictures in mind. It's not just the way the audience applause is mixed in, it's also things like the balance between instruments and how much chat between tunes is included.

So I would expect the CD mix of a live event like Reunited to be different from the DVD version. It would be a new mix, done from the master files.

Although only certain performances were video recorded (because of the cost), I would be surprised if most (if not all) performances were not recorded in audio. This opens the possibility of using versions of tunes from other concerts in the series . . . . .

I'm disappointed that 2Entertain have no plans to issue the concert on blu-ray.

So am I, but the DVD is of excellent video quality, and with an HD TV which has a good upscaling processor, the result isn't very far from a Blu Ray.

A CD of a different concert from the Reunited tour would be great. The BBC obviously recorded the final night at Wembley Arena, so why not release this? I'd especially love to hear one of the concerts from overseas - Aus or South Africa especially. Maybe a CD that includes live recordings from wide variety of venues (as Genesis did). Oh well, I live in hope.

There has been of course many unauthorised private recordings from many concerts, including for the Paris concert on november 7th 2009 (I am in a good position to know), but don't expect perfect sound quality !...
