"Hank will be dead chuffed with this"!
I remember that (and probably still have the magazine out in the garage).
Best wishes,
JN
PS: Does that guitar have the "Hank B Marvin" Bigsby-style vibrato unit? The plain New Escort guitar (on which it is based) had the horseshoe-frame tailpiece but not the vibrato version.

Very interesting - I don't remember this, nor do I remember ever seeing photos or mentions of Bruce playing this guitar but I'm sure someone will come up with something to the contrary!
Of course, 1967 was well into the 'Burns Era.'
Cheers.
Tony

Although I can't find a picture of a (plain) Vox New Escort (Telecaster-copy) on the web, there is a pic of an Alden "VX Cruiser", whose name is capable of being understood as a parody of "Vox Escort").
The URL is:
http://www.cranesmusicstore.com/images/ALDEN%20VX%20CRUISER%20MAIN%20web.jpgNote that this has a vibrato unit, though the Vox original was fitted with a tailpiece which had the rough frame of the vibrato, but none of the "works".

Hi Jim
As 'Alden Code Cracker' what do you make of the 'TV Cruiser DLX' (upper)
and the 'TV Cruiser Bass' ? (lower)
If the 'T' is for Telecaster is the 'V' still Vox?
