Backin' Business

Postby rogera » 18 Feb 2012, 16:16

I've just finished recording my latest backing track CD - "Backin' Business"

It's a mix of guitar instrumentals that appealed to me (hopefully, you will like them too)
There are some new ones and a selection of oldies to bring back a few memories!
For the track listing and to listen to sound clips you can use the following link :-

Hey Rog.....nice job....how'd that hot Ventures toon, Yello Jaquet, slip in there?
Nice job on it....resembles the version that originally appeared on The Colorful Ventures wayyyyy back there!

I invite you to join our Ventures 4um and post your backing track info there.
I'm emailed constantly about good backing tracks.

See you here: http://fansoftheventures.createaforum.com/index.php

The forum category where you'd post your backing track info would be here: http://fansoftheventures.createaforum.com/sound-files-and-video-clips/

Thanks for your reply Walt.

I haven't recorded any Ventures numbers before now but I heard "Yellow Jacket" being played by the Ryders (a Swedish group) and liked it very much.

My favourite Ventures number is "Wailin'" but it sounds very tricky and I don't think that I could do it justice.

I'll have a look at the forum that you mentioned.

Hi Roger
thoroughly enjoying mine!!
Some tracks must have slipped through the net on the Forum - cant remember seeing them - but they are all excellent.
Great BTs and the standard of the Demos is something to aspire to.
Value for Money!
cheers

Song of the Day from KUT

Every weekday, Texas Music Matters' Song Of The Day highlights a great song captured live at KUT's studios. It’s a no-frills showcase for some of the great music that comes through the "live music capital of the world."
