Can anyone help, please with the chords to the wonderful tune "Tommy" from "Eruption" - nothing to do with The Who nor EVH, this was composed by Thijs Van Leer, played by Focus, and more recently by Steve Hackett.
Could take a long time to master....help would be very much appreciated. Even if you can't help, have a listen to the track, go and buy it!

How far through the chords have you got?

Post what you have written down so far, and let's see if we can take it from there.

Thanks for your response, Jim. "Not very far" is the answer, I'm afraid - it starts with a G note played over Fm7, I think, which then changes to a Ddim, or is Ebmin? I don't have the ability to put the track on, as you did with the original Focus, but Steve Hackett's new version (from "Beyond The Shrouded Horizon" cd, sounds clearer to work on - I am still struggling, though! Having enjoyed Focus, and Jan Akkerman's guitar work several times live about 40 years ago, I would love to be able to play this tune, or the other instrumental tracks Focus I, Focus 2, or Focus 3, but it seems that the huge learning resource for The Shadows, complete with many backing tracks and Tab, does not exist for other bands/artistes!
