Which can you guys recommend & known to be free from malware? D/loaded one and my Virus prog says it's malicious.

As Scott says, just download and install the latest free version of Realplayer.

If you use Firefox, "Downloadhelper" is free and works fine.
Otherwise you might use "Replay Media Catcher", but it's not free.

I do appreciate all your comments. I downloaded a converter yesterday and Bullgaurd warned me it was whizzing through my system locations and asked me to qaurantine the application. It really shook me 'cause I have it on my programe d/loads ready for installing when needed.

As Didier says, I'll pay for one, this hard drive has just been reformated due to an unmoveable infestation of someone sending me a trusted sender e-mail and it whizzed through the lot--even sent me Bruce Welch's e-mail addy when I opened it. It was my old Charlie583@hotmail.com which I de-activated--now I can't get on Acid Planet as a member.

Hi Brian,

I use a freebee called "GetGo YouTube Downloader". You can choose whether you want just the audio or the video. It has not failed me yet.

PS. Get the "Downloader" and not the "Manager".
