My little tribute to Jet...tonight...

As you know, I have appeared a couple of times on the local internet-based radio station Trentsound.com. Well, much against their better judgement, they have allowed me to have a show of my own!

We are sneaking it in under the radar, as it were, and the very first edition will be going out tonight at 11 PM. I won't say too much about it, but it is a 'themed' show and is more or less guitar-orientated. If that makes any sense?

Having noted that it is exactly one year ago today that Jet died, I have included a little tribute to him. If you listen to the show at about 11.30 - 11.40, I think you should hear it. Sorry to be so vague; I pre-recorded the show on Friday and am now having to try to remember exactly (or roughly!) how far into the show the relevent song was played!

Anyway, if you log on to the internet address below, any time between 11 and 11.40-ish - you will hear my little tribute to the great man. RIP Jet and I hope you're still rocking up there in rock 'n' roll heaven!!!!

Cheers,

Chris.

Just getting this message up to its 100 views! I know, I am THAT sad...

Hopefully one or two of you may have caught the show on Sunday; should be another one this week. More of the same!

I also found myself 'appearing' briefly on Steve and Andy's show "Not On Your Telly" at about 8.30 the same evening. Obviously I plugged my show, but also mentioned the fact that Jet Harris had died exactly a year ago and requested 'Man of Mystery' - which they duly played. So, I did my best.

Incidentally, I am hoping to get hold of some tracks my both Matilda and Zoe McCulloch to play on the show. So watch this space. Any suggestions, by the way, would be gratefully received...
