Janine...Again!

I posted a little while back trying to trace the composer of Janine. It's credited to a 'Peter Downes' but it's not the Peter Downes of PD3 (Peter Downes Trio.)
Through a third party I was able to establish that Hank doesn't remember much about it either and I've found the PRS is pretty much non-responsive. So I've come up against a wall.

So last gasp....I'm wondering (hoping) someone out there has the original 45 (Janine was the flip side of The Hawk and The Dove) as the name of the publisher should be printed on the label. If anyone can come up with this I would be forever grateful! :D

Thanks

Martin

Martin,

I haven't been able to view a copy of the single by Hank, but according to the PRS database, it is published by Hansic Ltd / IQ Music Ltd.

Hi, Martin. I see that Ulrich has already answered your question (very cool that you have a copy of the record!), but if this is of any additional help...

I have a CD from 1998 called "Another Side of Hank Marvin" which is essentially Hank's two albums "Words & Music" and "All Alone With Friends" combined together and reissued. It lists "Janine" as Nivram Music Ltd. and produced by Christopher Neil, which Ulrich's post already said. Funny thing...the CD liner notes are authored by none other than Rob Bradford -- of course! :D

Donna
