Just a reminder that the 14th Annual Shadows Music Gala takes place at the Scarborough Rugby Club, Scalby Road, Scarborough over the weekend of Sat/Sun 26/27th May.

It's a great venue with plenty of parking and starts on Sat 12 noon-5-30pm & Sun 10-30am - 4-30pm. At least six bands are already booked and there is plenty of backing track time + play live with a band for those who want to. Licenced bar & refreshments available. Tickets £10 two days, £6 for one day. Usual evening out at the famous fish & chips restaurant on Saturday.

This is one of the best Shadows weekends and social gatherings of the year and one that wives can enjoy as well !!

Just a quick update, Ian Harper who organises the event has now confirmed that Terry Carter from 'Legend' will be appearing on the Sunday (27th May).

Terry wowed everyone last year with his singing prowess! and has kindly offered to do the same this year. He will be backed by the brilliant Ian McCutcheon and 'Shazam' and will be singing some early Cliff & The Shadows numbers. Tickets will be available on the door which open 11am Sat (12noon start) Sun 9-45am (start 10-30am)

Well it's over for another year and what a weekend it was.
Great music, plenty of chatting amongst friends and the rugby club provided good food and drink. And the annual pilgrimage to Walkers Restaurant was well supported and was up to it's usual high standard.
We would be remiss if we did not give a HUGE thank you to everyone involved in putting this event on. Yet again Ian Harper ably assisted by Linda, Terry, Les and Eric put everything we needed in place and of course the wonderful Kevin who kept things moving along throughout.
We are already looking forward to next year.
