I got another venue for us if we want it.
The Saddlers Arms, Lower Farm, Bloxwich.
The gaffer's dead keen, there's no charge for the room and there are no stairs.
I've just been, it's a decent sized lounge ,looks OK, big car park.
Whaddya reckon to this ?

Worth checking out.
Remember if you're going to put your cards on the table and give them an ultimatum at Wyrley you have to have plan B in place and ready to go.
I've not been to Little Bloxwich too often. As I remember the muggers used to employ bodyguards.
This is a pub isn't it as opposed to a club. Where do we stand on volume?

Volume no problem, the lounge is separate from the bar.
It's a musical pub, there are things going on Wednesday and Friday and groups practice there.
Go take a look yourselves.
We have plan B and plan C in place, 2 different new venues.
I'm happy at Gt Wyrley but I'm buggered if I like being charged £30 whenothers are falling over themselves to give us the rooms for nowt on a Tuesday.

I know The Saddlers well as at the bottom of the street where I lived with mom n dad and used to drink regulary there in 70s. Dunno what it is like these days. I suspect the room we have now all to ourselves is best but I will go along with this if we want to move on. The lounge is sort of L shaped and of course we will not be playing to ourseleves and others will be present.
