I know that there are lots of Instrumental fans on here 9maybe even some Joe Meek / RGM Sound fans too). Of course NGD's Davy Peckett is well known to us all. He's just brought this superb little booklet out at just £5.99. Well worth checking out!!

Brand new Joe Meek's Instrumentals magazine. "New" Gandy Dancer's mainman Davy Peckett (one of the UK's most authoritative and respected Instrumental experts) is a lifelong Joe Meek devotee. As well as publishing his brilliant regular Instrumental fanzine "New" Gandy Dancer (since 1976!!!!!) - he's been working on a Joe Meek / RGM Special since 2009. Well, now it's out. It is absolutely superb. Top notch presentation and commentary - covering all RGM instros (& a few associated sound engineering releases) from 1956's "Bad Penny Blues" to 2012's "Jaywalkin'" CD. 32 A5 pages absolutely crammed with information and over 100 full colour label scans, record sleeves, photos etc., etc. Davy only produces his projects as a labour of love & not as a vast commercial project. But.....I would recommend anyone interested in Joe, RGM, Instrumentals etc to grab a copy of this.
