Jet Harris.

Today Jet Harris would have been 73 years old.
He was the main reason so many people took up the Bass guitar
me included.
He influenced so many people with his great driving bass lines .
Thanks again Jet , your music lives on.

Couldn't agree more!! As an occassional bassist (more & more it seems!!) I always enjoy playing Jet's basslines more than the others.

Kon-Tiki is my favourite.

I can't agree enough with the above sentiments, Jet was an inspiration to many people especially to me. I will always hold his memory dear.

Janet has asked me to post some photos on her behalf. If anyone would like to see them, they're on the Jet Harris Memorial Fund page on Facebook, here's the link: http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Jet-H ... 9979846554

Here is one of the photos!

Well said Jay. Some of those bass riffs are certainly just as memorable as the melody lines!
