First visit today to Hyde Park. Bloke on the WMC club door asked me if I'd come to the banjo club which made me smile. My father always said 'you playing that bloody banjo again' in a derogatory way. Anyhow got myself a pint and sat at the back near the door. Quite a few people there but I didn't recognise anyone other than Alan Jones and the youngster who plays far too good for me!!!

I'd decided that after saying some months back the WMC was a less desirable place than Parkands in Donny I'd keep my mouth firmly shut and blend into the background. Felt uneasy when Man of Mystery was discused (looking for a guitarist) so I sucked on my pint glass.

I had to give credit to all people who played live whether hestitantly or otherwise, (guy in the red T shirt and blond hair blew me away) and a smile played broke out on my manly lips when it was announced that Ghost Riders was to be played in the key of R Major.

Yeh, if you like live Shad music then it's alive and thriving in Donny.

Good that you took the time to come and check us out Bri and hope that you enjoyed the afternoon, new members are always welcome at Doncaster, we like to think we are a bunch of friendly folks.
It would be great if you bring your guitar next time and join in.

Take care
