A small unknown club, Burnham-on-Crouch Friends of The Shadows Guitar Club has been running for five years now under the 'management' of 'Big' Rick Fitz-Patrick (ex drummer with The Saddows & The Instro-Mentals). We meet on the first Tuesday of the month, sometimes with only a handful of people but last night Rick organised a Christmas Party (with raffle & buffet) with my band "Alive & Kicking" providing live music and enabling a number of ad-hoc bands to form. There was a good turn-out & we must all show our gratitude to Rick for all his had work & tolerance (!), especially considering his health hasn't been the best recently - Good on yer, mate!
