A spontaneous moment at a 1985 Deep Purple show - I think people here will appreciate it:

Ritchie was influenced by Hank, amongst others, and in my opinion, is the greatest guitarist there is :-):-):-)

Just KNEW you'd like that, our Dave!!! Have to admit...........I liked it too! :D
Mum wants to know if you have a DVD that includes this - if so, what's it called?

Anyroadup, re. "the greatest guitarist there is"..............are you meaning Hank, or Ritchie?? ;)

(Be VERY careful how you answer this on here!!)

Good to see someone who plays the music of The Shadows in a similar way to you, though!

Regards
"The Old Man"

P.S. Bit much, though, posting this on a Sunday afternoon whilst "Uncle Pete & Auntie Kim" are at Whitwell, busily trying to recreate "That Sound"

P.P.S. THANKYOU, Ivan for posting that link
