For those of us who know Steve Etherington this is a fascinating development.
(we are talking about "my man", aren't we?)

Is he going to sing, play the guitar or recall his life on Mars?

In that case it is a fascinating coincidence. There is another Steve Etherington who is also connected with showbiz - he is the manager for John Leyton and other 'sixties' artists (you will remember that John Leyton was backed by The Rapiers for a time). My tongue in cheek comment was made because of the unlikely possibility that he would ever appear on stage and because at one time he worked for a confectionary company!

Well that is a coincidence Ray. It's not a common name, and for both to be in show business and have connections with The Rapiers is a bit uncanny but I assure you they aren't the same person. Although my mate Steve is also a brillient guitarist he is better known for his keyboard playing and vocal work.

I just wanted to say thank you to all concerned for a wonderful evening, and very much hope that a large amount of money was raised for cancer research.
