Just to confirm the annual Guitar Gala for the East Yorks Guitar Club will be on June 15th -16th at the usual venue, Scarborough Rugby Club, Scarborough (in the sunshine!!) More details will follow.

I can't even make the Newcastle week-end (the following week-end), no Shadow Music fix in 2013. Will just need to get some Blues in Beale St. Memphis and Country in Nashville ................... on second thoughts, I know what I'd prefer.

Alan, Newcastle is 29th and 30th which is 2 weeks after. Date was changed.
Are you home then ?? Then you could have your fix for 2013. !!

Hi all,
As many of you who come to the gala stay at Ingrids hotel the Majestic. Sadly to say Ingrid has called it a day due to Clive not being well and is converting her hotel to luxury flats. She has however recommended the Ryndle Court Hotel which is 50 yards up from the Majestic. I have been and was very impressed too. Lovely proprietors Toni and Peter Shelton. The price is £35 bed and breakfast and the rooms are lovely. There are even some on the ground floor with huge bathrooms! They have a web site if you need to look www.ryndlecourthotel.co.uk and the phone number is 01723 375188. Thought it may help those coming who want to stay with everyone else. Any problems you can always ring me.
