The Shadows name

G'day Ladies & Gents,
Just as a point of clarification on my and some friends behalf. Is the official name of our heros The Shadows or just Shadows.
Yes we say "I saw the Shadows" but also can say "Do you like Shadows music".
Can anyone enlighten me as to their correct title.

Seriously hot here in the Blue Mountains (near Sydney) today. Weather prediction is 45 degrees (celsius)! :roll:

Might even consider having one or two coldies to cope!
