Hi all. Trolling through L D's shop the other day, I came across this item in the CD section. 180g HQ Vinyl LP.featuring a FREE bonus CD of the album. It goes on to say that the LP had been adapted to the local Italian market. The cover and the playlist were considered, at the time, best suited to the tastes of Italiens.
I can only say, that being a 100% vinyl man myself, I do admire Italian tastes. Super 180g mono LP with super sound. Needless to say I havent played the free CD yet.
Regards Geoff.

He's hiding behind the CD...
Saw this at Shadowmania, but decided to pass on it. I've got the original LP somewhere...

Hi Ron/ George
Bruce is hiding behindthe Jap style OBI strip/CD on the left, he is there. I believe the album was issued in Italy but not the UK. This issue George has a embossed front cover; ie Bruce, Tony, Jet, Hank and the words The Shadows are raised up from the cover face. Has the original got the same?
Regards Geoff.

I have an original Mauve label issue, and a later blue label issue, front covers are the same but the rear covers differ, and neither have a raised embossed cover like the one from Leo's.

I am VERY tempted by this. I still have all the Shads albums that I bought in the 1970s on vinyl - and they still sound great. Much prefer the sound of vinyl to CD. As long as it's not scratched, of course!!

Hi Dave/ Chris/ Ron/George.
The label , is mauve, as per the picture, is it the same or similar design Dave?
Believe me Chris you wont be disapointed with the sound of the mono LP. It's very, very good and just for you Ron, a picture showing Bruce.
Regards Geoff.

Hi Geoff, sorry they are a bit fuzzy, quickly used scanner instead of photo, but these are my two, to me yours looks more of a red colour, very interesting though as it is different to the ones I have.

I am tempted. May have to wait until birthday or Christmas!!!
Last vinyl I bought (new) was the three-LP set of Whitesnake Live at Donington. Amazing. It weighs a ton though!!!!!! I wish they would release the Cliff and the Shadows Final Reunion as a double (or three) LP set! That would be nice and so apt.

Hi David/ Chris
Thank's for the label pictures. Are they both Italy issues David?
I did, a couple of years ago, try to collect as many different label's issued with the first Shadows LP The Shadows. I think I got to seven then stopped looking.
Chris dont hesitate get the LP it's worth every penny of the £25 inc P&P. I think only 500 available worldwide.
Regards Geoff.
