I thought I'd share this. I've known Owen for about four years. When he attends the South West Shadows Club he'll usually play this tune (Ennio Morricone's Chai Mai).

Owen has a great love for guitar music, including the Shadows, though his tastes and ability stretch far beyond. He's one of the most genuinely modest guys I've met which means he'll probably be a bit embarrassed that I'm posting this here, but I think he deserves for his playing to be heard by far more music lovers than just the attendees of the SWSC.

He's a promising chef and has just begun working for last year's winner of the BBC programme "Masterchef". Congratulations, Owen, but don't stop playing!

Enjoy, folks...

Hi Justin

What a gracious and well put recognition of an extremely talented young man, it is a real pleasure to have two such extremely gifted and modest people in the club!

To others that may be reading this, Justin and Owen have often played together at the club, the friendship and dynamic in their combined performances is something really special. These young men exude natural charisma and feeling for their music, they are real ambassadors for all the younger generation players who are so very much part of this great community.

Success and happiness to you all, you represent the best of the best, both as players and people.

Best wishes

Gary

Just listened to this. I used to play it back in the 80's, never heard any body else play it apart from me n Hank. Brought back such memories. Absolutely spot on. Violining technique as good as the man himself. thanks justin for putting him on.
