I have a song going around in my head. I think the above is the title. The chorus ( I think ), is "Gather round the lemon tree, mister can you hear me.
Gather round the lemon tree, mister don't come near me.
It's from possibly the mid sixties. I can't remember who might have recorded it.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers, Alan.

Isn't it annoying when that happens. Apparently it's known as an "earworm",
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earworm which is a really good description of how it feels when it happens to you.
