Just had an email from Lakeside asking if anyone wants them to put on a Shadows appreciation weekend similar to Shadowmania.

Just read it too.

Tell them to get lost.

Totally agree Alan, they are simply trying to cause upset knowing that Shadowsfix is happening.
We MUST NOT allow them to distract from what will be a great time in Kingswinford.

I had one too. I guess they went out to anyone they hold contact info for from previous Shadowmania bookings. I think they've missed the boat though.

All my effort and help is directed towards Shadowsfix, and I still think the best place in the country to hold a 'national' event is
in the Midlands, where everyone in the country gets a chance to go without long distance travel i.e. Scotland to lakeside for example..

3 of us flew down to Heathrow from Glasgow for the first Shadowmania in1998.
It was a logistical nightmare getting to Lakeside by Taxi from the airport and
absolutely chaotic with the taxis after the show , trying to get back to the Potters Hotel.
We decided we were never going back again!!!
