We've gone a long way downhill since then
This years offering isnt quite a Nil Pointer but its way too generic. True, it has a nice format with a "C" style chorus coming in towards the end but its all too heartstringy and repetitive and sung by a lady, who although she is a National Treasure shouldnt embarrass herself (and me) by saying Yes to performing such poor work. If thats the best we can muster these days - - - - .

To be honest, it's really not even the same contest these days, it's quite political, which is a shame. It should be all about the song and how well it's performed, the nationality of the performer shouldn't even matter. If only we'd entered The Darkness back in their heyday, they were perfect for Eurovision!

ps, This might be a little naughty, but if you have access to multiple browsers; IE, Chrome, Firefox etc... well, you can guess the rest, I needn't actually come right out and say it!
