Details for the East Yorkshire Annual Gala.
This year which is our 16th Annual Gala is to be held on 15th 16th June at the Silver Royd Rugby Club Scalby Road Scarborough as usual.
The times are Sat 11 o'clock until 4 o'clock.
Sunday 10.30 until 4.30.
There will be at least 6 bands playing over the weekend with plenty of time for individuals to play live or to backing tracks.
We have several special guests appearing including Alan Jones, Ian Geast and Shazam, Phil McGarrick, Roger Allcock, Terry Devon and of course all our regulars who come from many parts of the country.
The compere is Kevin Harris.
The car park which holds up to 300 cars is free and there will be full catering facilities and a licensed bar.
Tickets cost £6 for one day or £10 for the two days which as you can see is tremendous value and can be purchased on the door.
The annual visit to Walkers Fish Restaurant on the Saturday evening is booked. Please let Linda or Madge know on the Saturday if you wish to go.

Only six weeks to go now to one of the best Shadows/music weekends of the year.

Highly recommended.

Thanks to all who have let me know they are fish and chipping etc at Walkers Fish Restaurant on the Saturday evening. There will still be time for people to let me know on the Saturday morning as I have booked the whole restaurant as per usual. Tickets for the 60's and Shadows Music Concert at Pickering on the Friday night can be purchased on the door unless you wish to reserve some and we can put them aside for you. It starts at 7pm.
Looking forward to the weekend and meeting up with you all again.

Have a good one folks, I'll be at the WC Handy's blues festival in Henderson, Kentucky, at least it will still be a musical week-end, but Bar-b-q instead of fish and chips.
