The Lakeside event has been confirmed for Saturday September 14th.
It features
Alan Jones & Apache Mania
Brian Locking
Totally Cliff & The Shadtones (from Liverpool)
Guitar Sixty (from Norway)
Undercover Shadows (UK)
and more to be announced.
Tickets are £35 and they go on sale at 9.30am on Wednesday May 8th

Quite surprised by that to be honest especially with shadowsfix already set up, sadly can't do both so ill Be at shadowsfix

Apart from Licorice and Alan Jones, I have never heard of any of these other bands before?
Are they known to anyone else?

What a dirty trick.

Why is it a dirty trick Ecca? Lakeside or any one person or club or organisation are entitled to put on an event to celebrate any group or artist. The Shadowfix has been on for sometime now, and tickets have been on sale for sometime also and I would think that it is sold out. So what is the problem or have I misread it?

Great , Good for Lakeside at taking over from Bruce(until he can take over again ? ) and carrying on this great event. Hope to see all the old faces there. (inlcuding Bruce)

I think Bruce has already said that he would not be attending any event that might be organised to replace Shadowmania.

The Undercover Shadows would be our very own Lee Restarick and friends. Probably without the cardboard box and the cat.

I've heard of the Undercover Shadows and Guitar 60, but not the others...

What are the hotel arrangements - will Lakeside offer the same price as for Shadowmania?
