Thanks Jim. Yes....excellent. Derek Cleary is a former member of the Cryin' Shames. What I didn't know until just recently was that (from the 1970s onwards) - he was with Cadlewick Green for many, many years!!! These videos are sort of 'home demos'. He has recorded a privately released CD (which he has been selling for all of £5!!!) - "Extra - Ordinary Joe" -with 14 excellent tracks. It is clearly a labour of love - and it is super.

Tracks: Johnny Remember Me / September In The Rain (v) / Paper Boat (v) / Telstar / Holloway Road / Nobody Waved Goodbye / Just Like Eddie / Please Stay (v) / Sky Men / Have I The Right / Valley Of The Saroos / Please Stay (instr. version) / Entry Of The Globbots / September In The Rain (instr. version)

Derek plays all guitars, keyboards, synths etc. The arrangements are original, tasteful and different. The vocals are very good too. Distribution is limited. If anyone is interested, I'll post details of how to obtain the CD from Derek. He hasn't really done it for financial gain - but, as an artist - I'm sure he'd be delighted with a few more sales.

Derek wrote Love's Not An Easy Game, featured on Candlewick Green's 1974 album What Kind Of Songs.

Thanks Bill. I hadn't seen that particular clip. So there is a Shadows connection! Yet another muso for whom Hank, Bruce, Jet & Tony provided the catalyst for a lifetime in music.
