An absolute classic book picked one up about two years ago in hardback,if you like this one try mike read's the story of the shadows or the shadows by themselves both excellent books just right to pass the winter nights after you have put the guitar away!

So do I, I had it signed by Bruce when he came in Versailles in 2003.
BTW, it has not been mentionned much, but he is doing a terrific job during the current tour !

Didier - you're not wrong. I've really been enjoying bruce's playing - and sound. In fact I think that both the playing (from all members of the band) and the sound, has been terrific.
Bruce is well up in the mix - and I loved his playing on sleepwalk particularly in the shads set - his arpeggiated playing I think is one of the highlights of that number

Bruce's hard to come by book is on Ebay and I've just won it for £30. Bargain All I've got to do now is get it signed my the man himself!

I've got a signed copy available in excellent condition, anybody interested at offers over £50 plus p&p.

I also have a copy of Mike Read's The Story of The Shadows signed by Hank, Bruce, Brian, Jet, Tony, 'Lic', Cliff Hall and Mark Griffiths again, serious offers are invited.

From 1961, The Shadows By Themselves is also available.

I have other rare items which I will shortly be making available for sale, so if anybody is interested in the above or maybe looking for something, drop me a PM as I don't want to get involved on the boards.
