2014, and Cliff's new album

Hello everyone

So there are no whispers anywhere about any kind of Shadows reunion to mark 55 years in 2014?

A few concerts at the Royal Albert Hall would be possible surely - then it's not another Final Tour as such more a series of concerts in one venue.

Another thing - Cliff's new rocky album presumably has a few guests on it. I don't suppose the Shads helped him out on one of the tracks.

Hope everyone is enjoying the summer.

H

Cliff & The Shadows have not ruled out the possibility of performing together in the future, but I have a strong feeling that the 2009/2010 tours have been the last ever. Cliff still tours, but I don't think The Shadows or Hank Marvin solo will ever tour again. I could be (and hope to be) wrong about this of course! :D

Can I be permitted a laugh? :D I wonder how many of us want to be working at 75 years of age, not me, I don't even want to be working at 65. I think we've had our monies worth so let them do what they like (which I'm sure they'll do in any case) and be thankfull for what has happened, after all, who would have thought that after 1999/2000 we would have had the opportunities given us since then. Retire In Peace guys.

Considering the low current retirement pensions, they might be in need to work again. This is probably why Cliff is still touring ! ;)

Yes I understand - but they don't have to work fulltime. Just for a few weeks to rehearse. Perhaps they'd welcome the chance to play for everyone again. And they could record the track in different countries again! I never give up hope :)

I hope when i'm 72 i won't be working anymore but a long time to go before i reach that age!
Maybe i'll get lucky and win the lottery tonight and i can tell my boss where he shove his job! :D
Has Brian Bennett retired now? The last i heard he was running a recording studio.

According to Brian's Facebook page he is in the studio with Bruce recording a new album. Does anybody know what album it is?
