:D Got the DVD yesterday and it was marvellous, terrific and all the other British words I can't spell......
It really gave me a flashback of good memories from the doubleconcert i Manchester.
Now I*m really looking forward to Gothenburg and Oslo next week.

But one thing was a bit peculiar to watch:
- Bruce using a capo in 3rd position on his sunburst Strat on "Singing the blues"...........

The capo allows Bruce to use the open 'E' position and play the boogie through the song.

Dave (and others)

I was trying to think if Bruce had ever played a 'boogie' type 12 bar before on a song, either with Cliff and the Shads, or just with the Shads - and I couldn't think of any. I know that Shadoogie, and Flingel Bunt - are based around 12 bar things - but he didn't do the 'status quo' type 12 bar riff, did he?

Blue Shadows from 'Dance With The Shadows' ? Pretty well a 12-bar blues.

8-) What I meant with peculiar was I've never seen Bruce using a capo on a Strat before.
But I know for sure why he's doing it.
Very interesting indeed.........
