Kevin Peek question

Can anyone help me?
Just received, from ebay, a Kevin Peek solo album entitled 'Back With The Boys'. The credits are minimal to say the least and although the album sounds (to my ears) to be from the mid 1980s (synths, Simmons electronic drums etc...) the sleeve features several photos of Kevin wielding a Roland guitar synth which I think were taken in 1978. There are no dates anywhere on the LP sleeve or label. I will try to make some scans later. It is on the German Intersound label and was recorded in Perth, WA. John Fiddy is named as the producer, I think.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
By the way, it sounds more like the Shadows (from the 1980s) or a Hank Marvin solo album than it does sky, which is interesting...

Not seen it before. John Fiddy played Keyboards with the Shadows at the Lakeside just before they did Eurovsion.

Don't think it's a bootleg. KP did have a few releases on different labels before his Sky days.

John Fiddy was already a musical 'colossus' at Nottingham University. Wikipedia only scratches the surface:
http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Charles_FiddyI found out a lot about his career as a student from members of the ultra obscure instrumental group The Midknights (who cut an extremely rare EP whilst at Nottingham Uni). Apparently John Fiddy came across as being rather earnest & intellectual - but was clearly one of those incredibly talented individuals who was at best competent (& obviously superb in some areas) on guitar, bass, keyboards etc. He was also a fine classical musician and arranger as well as being a leading light in the University Jazz Club which was, by all accounts, quite elitist!.

My feelings, having listened to the album, is that it was probably recorded in the mid '80s after Peek returned to live in Oz. Also, despite the title, I suspect that Kevin may have played all instruments on the album and programmed the drums - they do sound very much like a mid eighties drum machine. This is all conjecture on my part, as there is little or no relevant info on the album sleeve - the design of which is not very attractive really.
By the way, the track 'Where Do We Go From Here?' has, in my opinion, a real Shadowsy-feel to it...
G'day!

Speaking of a 'musical colossus' - as Rob just was - I am taking the liberty of attaching a photo. Any ideas? The guy standing up is me, by the way, and certainly could NOT be described as a colossas, musical or otherwise...!!!
(Sorry, it's round the wrong way !!!!)
