Yes....Pete Gillies (Sound) and the lovely Jackie (Refreshments) worked really hard at our inaugural meeting which was very successful and enjoyable. Several people I knew (eg Eric Pole, Brian Haycock, Graham Hyde, Bob Withrington, John - "Mr Guitar Tango" etc) + lots of 'new faces' (to me). A dozen or so performers (extremely good overall standard) and a wide variety of music. Excellent sound, lovelt venue, plenty of free parking, great cakes & a happy relaxed atmosphere. As Pete G says, why not come along and join us on the 2nd of August? Pete Fisher (who was unfortunately indisposed on July 12th) hopes to be there next time. Come and join us for a 'Twangtastic' night.
