We intend to arrive at the nearby Travelodge mid afternoon and was wondering if any others are considering going out for a meal prior to the Friday Shindig? Not sure of all the eating places that are available, but Keith has given me a few suggestions.

Hi Alan,
A number of us are staying at the Premier Inn and there is a Beefeater next door and may end up there for a meal. If interested please join us

I'm at the main venue hotel. Is that the Premier Inn?
Either way, I am, as the kids nowadays say, "up for" a meal on the Friday.
I dare say Alan Taylor will also be willing to make one, and probably also Kevin Wootten of Essex (to whom I am giving a lift to Shadowsfix).

Also saying at the venue hotel, so am happy to go along; my temporary chauffeur, John Miller would probably also be keen, but will no doubt respond himself.

I'm up for it - just as long as our shirts don't clash Alan!

I'm not sure whether we should ask Mr Nugent to locate a good eating place, I have recollections of Birmingham in 2004

I'm in the Premier Inn, Dudley Road, and as far as eating arrangements are concerned I'm not fussed.
Anywhere as long as the food is decent.
I shall, presumably, be shofurring Mr. Geddes, in the manner which he wishes to become accustomed, to the chosen eating establishment.

The Beefeater sounds fine to me, a variety of dishes to suit everyone. We'll link up nearer the time, for a time to meet and eat.
