Just been on YouTube and saw this. Type in Chloe Chalmers and be amazed.
Watch out Justin.

Below is the link, must say impressive.
Her dad must be as rich as Roger Allcock, different guitar for each tune.

Excellent! Top class playing from this youngster. Why, her nail varnish even matches the Strat's colour too!! Very accomplished performances at such a young age & gorgeous tone too. Way to go Chloe! Hey (as there is a comment on Youtube)...maybe one day soon we could have Zoe 'n' Chloe??

She certainly is remarkable for her age.

Bloomin' 'eck Luigi you've got a cheek commenting on my modest number of guitars after bringing along three of yours to the last
meeting. (I'll have you know folks that his latest Squier Bass VI) made me very envious!)

She's amazing! Check out her playing Mozart's Forte. I was going to say she's a star of the future but she's a star now!

Indeed an exceptionally talented young lady with the feel for the finer points of Shadows music.
As these videos were done a couple of years back , hopefully she hasn,t been sidetracked to other pursuits recently.
So much can distract young people, and it would be a great shame if she maybe had changed direction.

Lovely fluent playing technique, especially for someone of her age - we need more youngsters like this to sustain our music, in the long term.

Best wishes

In a way I hope she has, she clearly has talent and should be guided towards what will be commercial in her world rather than what was in ours.

She is great! A lot of us probably had a guitar at that age and were picking out most of those songs on them. I know I was. But I couldn't play them anywhere near as completely as she does though, apart from maybe Apache. Certainly not The Savage. I suppose she does have the advantage of backing tracks, professional quality guitars (easier to play as well as better sounding) and YouTube for guidance, as well as an adult in the background who is obviously a key player in her development as a guitarist. She has the long spindly fingers, a la Robert Johnson, which are made for playing guitar, that very few people have. But still, Christ! I don't kid myself that even if i had all those things (except maybe the fingers) I would have been as good as her - I definitely wouldn't. I bet she'd be be even better if she didn't have long fingernails .
More power to her !
And I agree with the previous post. Just playing shadows covers, and similar, would be bad for her, in my view. She could develop her own style in any number of genres of music and make music of her own, write original songs, possibly sing them, and have a fulfilling music career. I wouldn't want her to stay an old fart all her musical life, like me!
