Have just got back (Sunday) after a fantastic Celebration of Life for David (Dave) the turnout at the Hull Crematorium was absolutely fantastic and I appreciate and love you all in my Shadows Family for caring so much not just this week but also in the past year. For the support you have given myself and Jennie,Mark, Jessica and Alice I dont know what we would have done without it. The miles you all traveled to be with us was great not just this week but in previous weeks, the numerous telephone calls I thankyou the vast amount of cards sent to me (the post lady was on overtime) The service itself was all Davids choice from the music to the reading, the reading written by David and read by Linda Harper was fantastic, I will remember it always. Thanks to Ian H,Glyn,Ian Cross for wearing your stage gear for Shadows Music. Also thankyou to my family and friends who came to Scarborough for his final send off. Although it was pouring with rain and windy it was the most beautiful ending to the chapter. If I have forgotten anything please forgive for this has been such an overwhelming time I give you all my thanks and love xxxxxx Carol xxxxxxxx p.s.
