Review of Hank's concert last Thursday

Just received this review from New Zealand and Angie wanted to share it..........maybe it will encourage Hank & Co. to think seriously about re-considering bringing the concert to the UK.

Hello Pat ---
I was one of the lucky people who went to see Hank Marvin, Nunzio Mondia and Gary Taylor in Gypsy Jazz on Thursday night. The performance was held at the Bruce Mason Theatre on Aucklands’ North Shore. It was a brilliant concert, and the audience (of approx. 1,000) appeared to thoroughly enjoy themselves. Sometimes – dare I say – a NZ Audience can take a while to warm to performers – especially if they are expecting a certain style or format. This wasn’t the case though, I think by the time the performance started most of the fans were aware that this was Gypsy Jazz – not music by the Shadows. However we were treated to Guitar Tango – and Hank managed to include a few twiddly bits from some of the Shadows classics. The music aside Hank had us laughing with his great sense of humour. All round a thoroughly enjoyable show – well deserving of the standing ovations. Just wish I’d booked to see another show in another Town!
All the best from NZ.
Kind regards,
Angela

Thanks to Pat for posting Angela's review, it sounds like a great show.
If you read this Hank, please make your way to the UK with the show we are all waiting to see you.
