As a taster I ordered the Fiorano in Trans Red. For £264 (B stock) from Thomann it's a bargain and it's different, No trem, but I have a Stetsbar that will fit it, looking forward to the change. :)

Very nice roger, I have heard a few good things about these and also levinson blade guitars, they all seem to be same as strats but with more tonal variety

You've got me into some trouble Roger, I fancy each of those !
It will be interesting using this for melodic stuff as all the demos err on the side of heavy, though I have noted that it is a versatile instrument and will be even better with the Stetsbar. I contacted Eric Stetts who created the Stetsbar and he is pretty confident it may fit OK. I do sometimes struggle to get the right sound for Parisienne Walkways and Sabre Dance with a Strat, but this should be a breeze. ;)

Levinson Blade I have been looking at and they are nice guitars. The RH 2 and RH 4 are interesting. However I met a guy in Birmingham a few weeks ago who had one and he said the tremolo which is designed to sit on the body flat yet still permit upward and downward bends is not well suited to the Hank style of use because it sort of clunks a bit switching between the two modes and is not smooth enough for gentle vibratos and the like.

Nice guitars though but I like G&L now !

Just had a note from Thomann - she's on her way . . . :P

Also I'm moving out some gear I no longer use so hopefully I can get the Legacy I had my eye on too . 8-)
