I gig with my Burns Rostill bass all the time. It's a versatile instrument and suits the rock'n'roll I normally do.

Hank's Green and White Burns Guitars, together with Hank's Martin and a Gibson 12 string and 6 string acoustic were all stolen from the Volkswagen camper van form outside the home of Roy Lemmon, the Roadie.

The irony is that two of the guitars that weren't taken were the original Strat, 34346, and John Farrar's Les Paul, which would have been much more valuable at that time than the Burns.

Bruce still owns his Green and White Burns Guitars.

Hi, my understanding is that four Burrns Marvins were stolen from a van in April 1972, this is well documented elsewhere, but please correct me if I am wrong.

I think this is a purely subjective judgment based on a view that the sound and style associated with the Burns/Baldwin period is inferior to that of the great, formative days which brought the Fender brand to the forefront in the UK.
