Surely there were many guitar instrumental groups playing, recording etc in every country back in the day? Before The Beatles , it was THE thing to play!

Lots of such groups in the UK.USA, Australia, NZ, Asia, South Africa, Canada and Europe (West and East)..most non USA groups emulated the Shadows, whereas the Ventures were more popular in the USA , Japan, Phillipines etc..

...anyway - some interesting interviews with the great Hank Marvin, eh? I know many members have little time for Hank's wit, but I thought his comments about ABC being the Aussie equivalent of the BBC but coming earlier in the alphabet...plus his joke about Reynards parties were classic Hank humour!
