Latest Shadowing Hank video

Postby MeBHank » 04 Jul 2017, 22:49

The latest video of my 'Shadowing Hank' act has gone online in the latest publicity/marketing push. It was shot at a showcase I attended in Blackpool in November. Since this performance I've made some significant changes to improve the 'look-alike' aspect, and hopefully another video will be available at some point in the future. I like to document improvement, and I still have a lot of ways I'd like to develop the act.

I'm pleased with the results. Let me know what you think.

EXCELLENT JOB, JUSTIN!
Very professional, great sound, immaculate presentation.
As Bruce puts it "Keep the flag flying!"

You're right to be pleased with the results Justin; it's a great video of what's clearly a fantastic tribute act. I'm not the world's biggest fan of "Stars In Their Eyes"-style tribute acts. It's not that I don't appreciate the talent or effort that goes into them; I just can't suspend my disbelief enough to say "well it's almost as good as the real thing". But, having said all of that, I can't think of anyone else more suited and more deserving of being "the" Hank Marvin tribute act that you're now setting yourself out to be. You've cracked the look and the sound (and let's face it, you've had both of those for a long time), but you've focused that into a show that's completely worth the ticket price. Going out as a one-man show is a brave thing to do but I really hope it works out for you. As others have said, you're flying the flag for The Shadows now, and you're doing it in a way which the band themselves should be proud of.

Cheers

The looks, the skill, the talent and a superb personality. Anyway, enough about me. :-)

It's all there Justin. There are still many thousands of Shadows fans across the united Kingdom
and, this display will certainly appeal to all of them. You have a great future ahead of you.

I look forward to seeing your show sometime in the near future.

Cheers, Alan.

I completely echo the sentiments of the young gentleman above. (will you be coming to Whitby?)
Love, as ever,
