This is not good news but the support and good wishes from the people on this forum will be enormous.
Hang in there Mick.

Oh, man. Mick has more than his share of health scares. But he's a fighter. Good wishes for another recovery, Mick!

My thoughts and best wishes go out to Mick. I saw him with The Animals in Bromsgrove last summer and although he was obviously far from 100% it was so great to see him after years of admiring his guitar playing.

Alas, I've just read, from Wilko Johnson no less, that the great Mick Green has passed away. As I've said elsewhere, watching him play live with The Pirates was a near religious experience, his right hand like the hand of God playing a Fender. What a privilege to witness his majesty. His solos on "I Can Tell", "Some Other Guy", "I'll Never Get Over You" and "Hungry for Love" just can't be beat. Of course he took over the mantle of lead guitar with The Pirates on "Please Don't Touch" and "Shakin' All Over", beyond description. RIP Mick!
