Just accidentally dropped on this :-
http://wifi-guitar.com/
Not strictly correct? Has anyone got an amp or effects unit that takes a Wi-Fi directly in?

I use a Fender Stage 800 Bass Combo and a fender Rumble 2x10 extension cab which has built in WIFI
you can use the fender Tone app on a mobile or Tablet etc to edit patches and download new patches and updates etc
its realy easy to use and i get great results , you can go from any Genre of music to another with all your settings saved into different selectable playlists.
with a multifunction footswitch to scroll through your playlist.
there are also hundreds of built in effects , any sound you possibly want is achievable with a bit of work .
it also pushes out 800watts into 4 ohms if you add a extension cab
dont know if it would work with a wifi transmitter from my bass though .
