I’ve just remembered it was 61 years ago yesterday that Brian joined The Shadows. What an asset he has been for them

Indeed it was. I forgot that date. I am usually the one to remember such dates. He has effectively been a member of the group for about 30 years: 1961-1970, 1973-1990, 2004-2005, 2009-2010 and 2020. And still some people remember him as 'the new boy'.
