It's official then!
Without using those exact words, the Irish Independent have repeated what we have been saying
on here all along - THE SHADOWS STOLE THE SHOW!!

Nice to see a reviewer go with his convictions. Quite a compliment for the Shads.

A little harsh I thought; Cliff & The Shads created each other.

Without The Shads, Cliff would have been a star but he wouldn't have been the same star; just think of the songs that the guys wrote for him.

Without Cliff, would The Shads have been the band we know and love? I wonder if MWF and M&F would have had the coverage on his TV show and thereafter The Shads reforming to produce some great albums in the 70s and 80s and go back on tour again.

The star of the show is Cliff Richard & The Shadows, not one or the other.
