If this isn't intruding into Hank Marvins private life too much, I believe that the Devon climate did not agree with Hank's Dad and that Australia was a degree or two warmer and a might dryer.
I always wanted to be Hank Marvin and having seen his old "Estate" in Devon, I am even more sad that I'm not.!!!!

The nearest you can get to Hank's old estate is to come along to lovely Devon, and visit us at the South West Shadows Club.
