Can't get into 'Chat'

Clicking on the chat button provokes another 'sign-in' window. On trying to sign in it tells me that my password is wrong - it's not. Thinking that I might have to register for the chat facility I tried that only to be told my 'nickname' is taken (Shad1 - by me presumably). Any help?

Hi Malc I have just tried it and it works ok, so i signed out and changed to lower case for my password and had same problem as you , so make sure you write you details the same as when you joined here, let's hope your ok then .............

I tried it too and found that I had to register to use chat. Mind you, when I got in I was the only one there.

Chat is not connected with the rest of the board so you have to register separately for it.

The problem is there's never anyone in there because when you go in you find nobody there so you come out again.

In the past, it was discussed in forum and a time arranged for people to go into the chat room. For quite some time I remember 10pm every evening someone would be in there.

....or rather I'm not. Tried every variation of leading caps etc but no joy. I'm very aware of my password (and form) but it's not biting at all. I would otherwise call myself stupid but stratmand would just agree with me. Well good luck in your various chats everyone.
