And mine. The whole album ("Rockin' With Curly Leads") was wonderful.

OK, I'll maybe concede a half-point with Good Vibrations, but every other track was a gem.

Tom, you're observation is correct... so far.

However, you can never get me to like this track even if you whisked me off for a week's holiday in Guantanamo Bay ;)

Conversely, I liked to listen to and play many of the numbers listed above, including the much reviled Polydor recordings.

It just shows you what a wide appeal the boys have always had.

Have to chip in here. Although I mentioned my thoughts on the most dire recordings the guys made when I started the thread, I have to say that Turn Around And Touch Me is one of my favourites. Quite apart from the song/sound/playing/production - it meant - at the time - that they were back! And there was this new guy called John Farrar - what could he bring to the table?? Wow. A very happy person was I.

'Turn Around And Touch Me' - a brilliant track! and from what I can remember from having learnt it some time ago - different tuning on the top 'E' to reach the high note on the end sequence.

Tab,

Are you sure about that. I have just listened to the tune on Freddies web site and I cannot detect such pitch.
