You are right Bojan. It is always good to read other peoples views on the various topics raised, (and the banter between friends).

I have been given good advice, when asked for, on a couple of occasions by members who are much more knowledgable than me on subjects which were not directly related to actual music, for which I will always be grateful. Long may the spirit of the forum continue.

Cheers
Brian

I know there are people here who are walking Shadows encyclopaedias and people who painstakingly collect every scrap of Shadows info they can lay their hands on. There are also people like me who are only interested in their music, which inspires me to play. There is no 'typical' Shadow Music member, but we all meet here and share our enthusiasm and who cares if we are getting older and our passions for this music is something of a niche thing? As long as there are even a handful of us, it's good to have somewhere like this to meet, talk and share our appreciation of guitar instrumental music. This place is good for a few years yet!

Probably - but I can't think of any reason why it should be necessary (other than for the very small minority of folks who get their kicks from arguing with themselves.)

Forums (?) have by no means "had their day"... the Net is littered with places where folks exchange info about their specialist areas and engage in international contact. As far as I am concerned, this place exists to serve the interests of those folks who love this music, to help them achieve their musical ambitions, to link them with each other, and to promote that old fashioned thing, fellowship... and whilst there's two of us still standing... :geek:

I'm delighted with the membership here, and the way in which the site has become so active. I like the way it feels ... colours? Just wait...

p.s. All those of you who want to snog Ecca, please form a orderly queue just overt there... behind the bushes.
