Last night at the Hankies...

Postby ecca » 07 Apr 2010, 16:19

We welcomed Dave Robinson and Daniel Martin into our midst and very welcome they were too.
I unfortunately passed out towards the end due to erm.. a sudden chill or something.
The food just gets better and better thanks to all the efforts of the participants .
Last night's speciality was a sort of Asian dish bought in ( still warm ) by Keith in the Alps.
The Savage was played at least 7 times by assorted players, my own version suffered towards the end because of the erm... sudden chill.
Well done all.
My chill is now passed.

Yes me and Ecca had a ride out today in Brum to some guitar shops and he does seem much better now. Good evening with good company and good to see Dave and Daniel and the usual good selection of nosh and banter. This bloke called Malcolm did n't half have some stick last night ! :D

Lummy!! Even I got called "Malcolm" last night.
Whatever next?"
I thought Ecca's novel approach to his interpretation of t'Savage thoroughly entertaining.
"And so did all of us. For he's a jolly good - -"
Hearing "The Krule See" played on a Gibson L5 will stay with me a long time!! :wtf:
See you soon

Gee, I wish I'd been there. Maybe George & I will join you in September/October. If so we'll bring some Aussie cobs.
